Welcome to Our Website! Here you can find valuable information on the happenings of 7th Grade at ICS!
A few reminders:
7th and 8th Grade Mass is on Friday, March 23rd! Please come join us!
Terra Nova Testing begins on Monday, March 19th! Please have plenty of sharpened #2 pencils. Eat a good breakfast and get a great night's sleep!
The 3rd Marking Period ends on Friday, March 23rd! REPORT CARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED FRIDAY, MARCH 30th!
Confirmation Saint Scrapbooks are due Friday, March 30th!
A few highlights for you:
**We had a wonderful time at our Confirmation retreat at St. Joseph's Shrine in Stirling! Check for pictures on our blog! We learned about the gifts of the Holy Spirit and helped our faith to grow, as we learned together about Service, love in God, and Faith in ourselves! Please continue to pray for us as we continue our faith journey to becoming adults in the Church!
**We have finished our unit on percents, and look forward to working on some geometry! We celebrated "Pi Day" and leaned about the relationship between circumference and diameter (for those of you who don't know the circumference of a circle is 3 and 1/7 the diameter!!!) We also indulged in some yummy "Pi-e" day treats!
**We have created our own periodic tables, and soon you will see a huge periodic table adorning our hallway! Please come to visit and see all of the hard work we have put in to making our science minds grow! Soon we will be working on combining these elements into compounds and balancing chemical equations!
